VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AND YOUTH CAMPS
During the vacation periods when school is in recess, ICCM conducts several Vacation Bible Schools and Youth camps. Children from all walks of life attend both programs. It has proved to be a wonderful opportunity to share Christ to many Hindu children as well as those of other religious faiths.
CHRISTIAN OUTLOOK MAGAZINE
Christian Outlook Magazine is a monthly publication featuring articles on doctrinal issues, articles for ladies, young people and laymen. In addition, it offers an opportunity to comment on contemporary world happenings. At present ICCM publishes 500 copies of the magazine and hopes to increase that number in the coming years.
PREACHERS MONTHLY MEETING
Every month ICCM hosts a Preacher’s meeting on the first Monday at the Bible College. The one-day program includes prayer time, Bible study and fellowship. In addition, the event offers an opportunity for each pastor to share and discuss their experience in ministry for the previous month. Discussions focus on different methods of ministry and how to best develop their local church.
PREACHERS MONTHLY HOUSE VISITING
All ICCM pastors are divided into three groups. Every month on one particular day all three groups visit houses in three different places. We do this in assistance with one of our local churches. Because of this ministry we have gained new families who have started attending that particular local church.
MONTHLY ALL-NIGHT PRAYER
The last Sunday of every month we conduct an all-night prayer meeting that takes place at the Bible College. In addition to the Bible College students and faculty, all preachers and many Christians from our local churches close to the college attend the meeting. It starts at six o’clock in the evening and will go up to five o’clock in the morning. We will often have several prayer requests to pray for. For example, on one particular evening we spent much time in prayer for all ICCM sponsors, board members and all the other brethren.
MONTHLY MEETING OF CHURCHES
We divide local churches into two areas. All the second and third Saturdays we have a monthly meeting in one of our local churches. All the preachers and Christians attend this one-day program. It is a time of prayer, fellowship and sharing. The meeting will end with a meal provided by the host church.
SOCIAL WORK
ICCM always looks to help the poor and needy in our society. No cast, creed or religious difference is considered in this social activity. We help poor people in many ways: with their hospital expenses, funeral expenses, repairs to their houses and huts; we help students and children for their schooling. We’ve also helped girls from poor families to purchase sewing machines in order to make a living. We will consider social projects that help people, as funds are available. This ministry has often provided opportunities to share the Gospel when we have met a need in someone’s life.
