Religion

India is a country that features many different religions. Most people believe in god in some form. Hinduism is the predominate religion among many casts and creeds. Hindu adherents make up about 90% of the population, Islam about 5%, Buddhism & Jainism about 2.5% and Christians the remaining 2.5% (this includes all denominational churches including Roman Catholic).
